Happy Valent…oh, it’s over?
Now that the day of Bleeding Hearts is out of the way which I hope you all enjoyed; it’s time for me to remind you all that The Borrower Arrietty will be coming to U.S. theaters tomorrow! That is, February 17th. So get your $20 ready to watch another lovely Studio Ghibli movie. Ok, I’m done with that plug.
So what did you do for Valentine’s Day? Did you pine away and stare out of the window sadly? Did you hide away in a box? Do you even care? Did you have someone to share it with whether it be a family member, close friend, or a sweetie?
What did I do? I watched anime of course and accepted my gifts from my sweetie. I watched Another which I’m finding to be quite fascinating. It doesn’t horrify me as much as it intrigues me. There is so much I want to know and I have so many questions. If you want to know what happened in the most recent episode, there are tons of blog postings spoiling you of the show. I’m assuming the deaths are the reason why this is consider horror because it is coming across more as a mystery to me. Granted there is some gore and bloody deaths but it seems to be turning into a detective story to me. Koichi trying to find out why the calamity is occurring; deaths that only seem to affect those related to the students of Class 3. I have my theories to what is going on but I don’t want to put them in this post just in case there is a person reading that has not watched the show yet. I tell you, if you are an anime watcher that is tired of the overabundance of moe and fanservice in anime at the expense of a good story line; Another and Mirai Nikki are shows worth a watch. Another is available through Crunchyroll. Mirai Nikki is available through Hulu. They are both available for free and can be viewed on your television set (which is a plus for me!).
So what are you watching this season? Anything new or are you watching old shows?

Im currently watching mostof the airing Winter season anime and Shakugan no Shana. Yes, that is alot of anime I am watching. I spent my valintines day the same as you, watchig Another and other anime. But that doesn’t mean im forever alone, for I did try my uck and confessed to a girl I liked for a long time. I didn’t really get an answear so I guess I failed but atleast I tryed 😦
So that’s how I spent my valentines day in both the 2D and 3D world.
Then there should be no regrets with that girl. You told her how you felt and that’s that. Did you tell her verbally or write her a letter? You could always ask her for an answer and then take whatever she tells you. You didn’t fail, it would have been a fail if you never said anything and you would be left with “What if?”
I think told her directly without a letter. Anyway, it seems she’s been ignoring me since so I can already tell the answear without asking for it.
Anyway, enough about me being an idiot. What gifts did you get from your sweetie? 😛
Ahh, I see. Oh, well. There will be other girls. I got a stuffed animal, balloon, sour worms, and card. There will be a dinner this weekend. Yay.
Haha congrats!
Hahaha…$20…haha…*will watch Arriety for $6* It’s because my school has a good deal^^
$20 if you take a date and get snacks. Or $20 if you go alone and you buy loads of snacks! The movies are expensive these days!
Can’t wait to see Arrietty, though I’ll have to wait until March when it’s released in my part of the world… 🙂
Your part of the world is Sweden, right? It was a delightful movie, very sweet.
Yes, that’s correct, middle of Sweden. Where are you blogging from?
The southern part of the United States. I would love to visit Sweden someday.
